Commissioned by Doughnut Plant NYC.
Created a fully functional typeface for Branding & Marketing for this New York culinary staple. Based on their original logo from 1996, and now with 5 weights for multiple applications. Which is now used as their primary font from their website to their storefronts. From NYC to Tokyo. This font has helped elevate their branding capabilities while still holding true to what started it all.
Conceptually, Doughnut Plant makes both square & circle doughnuts. With that in mind the exterior of the letterforms are curved with the interior being squared.
